Mother’s Day 2010

Friday was the beginning of our Mother’s Day weekend. While Roger was at his prom, I went to visit my mom for the evening. It’d been a while since my mom and I had spent some time together, one on one. So I was there for a few hours talking and visiting. It was very nice and I think it made my mom very happy.

Happy Mother’s Day!

I’m going to be gone for the weekend, so I wanted to tell everyone Happy Mother’s Day before I left. Tonight is Roger’s Prom, and then tomorrow morning we’re all packing into the van and heading off to California to spend the weekend with Steve’s mom and sister. So I won’t be posting at all this weekend. And I know there are a lot of mom’s out there, so I wanted to wish each of you a very wonderful and happy Mother’s Day.

Review – Tuxedo Junction Las Vegas

My oldest son is 16 and he's in high school. He attends a charter school here in Las Vegas which is mostly homeschool, but once a week he goes to campus for "class" and has P.E. classes 2 times a week. The school has all sorts of cool things to participate in, including student council and a Prom! The prom is for all high school students, not just Juniors and Seniors. This is a formal event and has a theme of "The Red Carpet". So Roger needed a Tux. Continue reading →
