You Can’t Make A Second First Impression

This is a saying that my mom taught me as I was growing up. “You cant’ make a second first impression”. It means that no matter what you do, the first thing people see about you will be what they think of you most strongly. If they see you as a nice, neat, clean cut person, then that’s how you will be treated by them. If they see you as a punk, they’ll treat you like one… and they will for a very long time.

Review – Tuxedo Junction Las Vegas
Tuxedo Junction Las Vegas
My oldest son is 16 and he’s in high school. He attends a charter school here in Las Vegas which is mostly homeschool, but once a week he goes to campus for “class” and has P.E. classes 2 times a week. The school has all sorts of cool things to participate in, including student council and a Prom! The prom is for all high school students, not just Juniors and Seniors. This is a formal event and has a theme of “The Red Carpet”. So Roger needed a Tux.

EFT and Weightloss
I know it’s been a while since I last posted here. Mostly I’ve been avoiding my health and weight issues. I stopped exercising and felt really guilty about it. Of course the guilt just adds weight and keeps me from doing the things that I want to do. It’s a vicious circle that I’d really like to get out of now. I’ve been learning EFT and Reiki, but I’ve stopped doing that too, that is until recently. Read the rest of this entry »
