New AAP Safety Guidlines – Bubble Wrap Your Kids Till Age 26
Is this really what we’ve come to? Just about! Today the AAP came out with their new and improved car seat guidelines. Now, they are telling us that we have to keep our kids in a REAR facing car seat until they are 2 years old. And your child must be in a car seat or booster seat until they are 100 lbs or 12 years old. And no one under the age of 13 should be in the front seat. Ummm.. yeah, that’s all going to go over REALLY well with Junior High school kids!

One of the things that you’re supposed to do when trying to be successful in anything is to set goals for yourself. I have tried many times to set goals and challenges for myself in various areas of my life. From weight loss to blogging (or should that be from blogging to weight loss). However, I find myself always falling short on my goals and challenges. Almost like as soon as I set a goal for myself, I do everything possible to keep myself from actually reaching that goal! It’s maddening, frustrating, irritating… just annoying the living crap out of me!
Monday Madness
So this is my brain… It’s like an egg… full of yummy potential just waiting to be set free. It could be breakfast, it could end up being a chick. Either way, it’s full of potential. Then, I get sick for a week…
