Saturday’s Project

So this weekend we decided that we needed a new BBQ. Not because our old one wasn’t working, mostly because it’s just kinda old, and small and Lowes was having a sale on BBQ’s. We stopped by there and looked at the ones they had on sale and found just about the perfect one for our family. It’s a pretty big one, not horribly huge, but big enough to have 6 or so steaks on the grill, plus it has a side burner for sauces and a top rack for buns and things. Since we were having a BBQ with my mom & sister for the 4th, we figured it was perfect and we got it. Then the boys and Steve had to put it together. hehehe, while I took pictures! If I was going to have to be in the hot sun, I figured I would take some pictures of their progress!

Memorial Day

I didn’t want to say “Happy Memorial Day” because I don’t think it’s really appropriate. We aren’t celebrating today, although for the most part, it seems that we are. We have Memorial Day sales, and BBQ’s and parties and vacations… but we need to remember what today is REALLY about. It’s about remembering those who have fought, and died, for OUR freedom!

It's Snowing in Las Vegas!!!

What the heck??? Where did this snow come from?? Siberia evidently, LOL! So here are some pictures and soon I’ll add some video’s of my backyard while it’s snowing.
