Miss Vagaygay

I don’t know exactly how this is going to work.  I”m not really very good about talking about my private bits, but then again it wouldn’t be called a “challenge” if it was easy to do.  Over at Renegade Moms they are calling for a Vagina Monologue-esqe writing Challenge, and being that  I love a challenge… well lets just say it was like a triple dog dare to me.  So here’s my little contribution…

Updates

My Health:

So, After I was diagnosed with gallstones I stopped eating so much fat.  I ended up losing 15 lbs in almost as many days.  Then over the holidays, I didn’t stick to my diet and I gained 5 lbs back.  Well since New years, I’ve stuck to my diet much better and have lost 7 lbs so far.  I”m feeling really good, even cute!  So this whole “eating right” thing is working pretty nicely for me. Writing Prompt – Alphabet Soup

Write a 26-line poem using all the letters of the alphabet, where the first line starts with the letter “A,” the second “B,” the third “C,” etc., culminating with the final line starting with “Z.”

I found this writing prompt at Writer’s Digest.  They had a bunch, but I liked this one the best.  I figured I’d write the ABC’s of Manifestation or Law of Attraction.  I hope you’ll enjoy it, maybe I’ll do this again!

Day 8 – Body for Life – The Bean

So today is day 8.  To be honest, I wasn’t very good at keeping up everything that I wanted to do during the first 8 days.  But I’m trying to go with the flow, and forget about what I don’t do, and concentrate on what I WILL do, today!  Today I did my upper body work out, which I think I was actually supposed to do that yesterday, but I got all confused, and I wanted to play with my new actually it’s an old, toy. Day 2 with Body for Life

So really I’m not changing the way I eat that much (i.e. I still had Popeye’s chicken for dinner last night), but I’m eating smaller portions more often, so I”m not that hungry when I eat out.  Instead of having 2 or 3 peices of chicken with a large helping of mashed potatos/gravey, red beans & rice and cole slaw, I had ONE peice of chicken and small helpings of the sides.  I was still plenty satisfied too!  I also had a pack of 100 calorie brownie bites, which is really only about 4 bites of brownie.  The packaging is what makes it perfect though.  Because you open one pack, you feel like you’ve eaten more and your sweet/chocolate craving is satisfied!  For my mid morning/lunch time “meal” I’m having cheese, crakers and summer sausage.  Which is delicious!

We’re supposed to eat 6 times a day, which right now isn’t easy to do but that’s because I don’t have everything I’d like to have to eat for snacks and stuff, and I’m still new at this, so I”m giving myself a “warm up” period.  I’ll get it all figured out eventually.

I did do my exercising today!  I didn’t try to do it first thing in the morning, I waited until my schedule allowed for it.  I did 6 different types of upper body weight training, with 0, 2, 3 & 5 lb weights (the 0 lbs was actually me holding nothing in my  hands and the 5 lbs was me holding a 2 & 3 lb weight in each hand, but whatever).  Now my arms are tired and a little sore!  So I must be on the right track!  LOL!

Been Awhile

So it’s been a while since I’ve blogged here.  I’ve blogged at my other blogs, but not here.  I guess most of my posts have been more niche type posts, and this blog is more of my “Other” blog or the “None of the above” blog.  So it gets a little more neglected now that I have so many niche blogs and microblogs.  However, since Sunday I made some vision boards I thought I’d share them with you here.
