Recently I was in the market to get something unique, cute and perfect for my “not quite” Sister-In-Law for Mother’s Day.  It was her first Mother’s Day (sorta, cuz she’s been a step bonus Mom for a few years, but she just had her first baby last Nov.)  So Steve and I wanted to get her something really good for her.  Luckily we found something absolutely perfect!

Teddy Bears Personalized gives you the ability to pick a bear out, pick out the clothes, and then have a message or name embroidered right on the clothes.  We picked out a “Funky Friends” Polar pal, with a light blue hoodie.  Then we had embroidered on the hoodie this message, “Happy First Mother’s Day Julie & Nathaniel.  From Steve, Chris, Roger and Jack”.  We ordered the bear in the evening on May 3rd and it arrived at our door in the afternoon on May 5th.

I was shocked at how soft the bear was.  It felt like that wonderfully soft microfiber stuff.. the material that makes you want to keep touching it forever!  It was soo amazingly soft!  It stood about 8 inches tall, when sitting on the desk.  The embroidery is amazingly beautiful!  I just absolutely loved it!  I couldn’t believe how quick it got to us also.  Julie and her little guy loved the bear as well!  So it ended up being an absolutely perfect mother’s day present for Steve’s sister!

Twist Loofah Sponge & Elsie’s Original Germ Fighter Spray

About The Product:

Twist Loofa Sponge – Unbleached, undyed white cellulose and tan, scrubby loofah. And it’s biodegradable, just like the food it cleans up after.

Elsie’s Original Germ Fighter Spray – Elsie’s Original Germ Spray is meant for bigger jobs like high chairs, toys, counters, table tops, and anything and everything your baby may touch. The same wonderful solution used for the Germ Fighter Wipes in a convenient 8 oz. spray bottle. Each bottle contains organic lavender, chamomile and Vitamin E essential oils.

My Opinion:

I received these two items in the mail from EcoMom.  I love natural products, not because I’m a “Greenie” and “Environmentally conscious”, though I am at times to a certain extent.  I love natural products because they are healthier for people and tend to aggravate my allergies less than most chemicals.   I’m very sensitive to chemicals and plastics, so I have to be careful about what I use to clean my house.

So the fact that Elsie’s Original Germ Fighter Spray is made with organic lavender, chamomile and Vitamin E essential oils, made me very happy.  I’ve actually made similar cleaning sprays myself, but it’s no easy task, and I”m kinda lazy.  So I love that this is already made and inexpensive too!  You can purchase this spray for $13.20 (or use my discount code through May 31, 2010 SBBL204 and get 15% off  your first order!)

I used the spray in conjunction with the sponges to clean my kitchen counters.  I was very pleased with the results.  I have white tiles on the counters, and as anyone with tile knows, the grout gets dirty easily.  This spray and sponge not only got my counter nice a clean, but it cleaned up the grout as well.  Of course I had to scrub a little harder, natural products don’t make it easy, but it did the job still.  Plus, now there is a lovely smell of Lavender & Chamomile in my kitchen.

If you like using natural products with essential oils instead of chemicals, then I would suggest these two items.  They are as good as most cleansers, have a wonderful smell, and the sponges are biodegradable.  You can feel good about cleaning your house and keeping the environment clean at the same time.

Eden Fantasys $25 Gift Card

Over the weekend, during the crisis of our email/web server crashing on us, I got some absolutely fantastic news.  I am going to start doing product reviews for Eden Fantasys!  Now, for my family, they may want to stop reading right now, because I’m going to start talking about sex.    But the rest of you, well stick around, cuz we’re gonna have some fun!

I’m a healthy woman in her late mid thirties.  So I have a healthy sexual appetite.  Luckily I also have an incredible partner, who not only is a lot of fun no matter where we are, he’s also a lot of fun in bed.  We have a pretty good sex life.  But that doesn’t mean there aren’t times when we like to play around too!  So when Eden Fantasys asked me if I’d like to review some of their wonderful products I was thrilled!  This was a chance to start REALLY exploring.

On the website, Eden Fantasys, you’ll find interviews with Porn stars, Sex Doctors, and many other experts that the entire community on Eden Fantasys has been able to submit their own questions to.  It’s fun, informative, and a great way to learn new things.  There’s also a great Community Forum, Sex Toys Reviews, and a heck of a lot more on the website.

Then there is Eden Cafe, the main blog for Eden Fantasys.  You’ll find a lot more interesting articles on sex, politics, current events and much more from some of the popular authors and reviewers of Eden Fantasys.  So whatever you’re looking for from a sex website, especially for us women, this is the place to get it!

Next week, I”ll be doing my very first Eden Fantasys review of some body frosting called Sugar Kiss!  Steve and I should have a ton of fun trying it out, and you’ll get to find out how it goes.  I’ll always be extremely honest about the products I am reviewing.  I may be getting the products for free, but that will never influence my review.  Though I try to be as positive as I can, it will be unbiased and totally 100% MY VIEWS!  So never fear that I won’t give it to you straight!

Happy National Napping Day!

Today, March 15, is National Napping Day.  This is a relatively new “holiday” that was started in 1999 to counter act the horrible affects of the miserable Daylight Saving Time.  National Napping Day is always the Monday after Daylight Saving Time in the spring because we have to change our clocks forward one hour.  We all need the nap time!  I know I do!

Everybody naps… much like the book “Everybody Poops”, everyone needs to take a nap now and then.  The cat at the top of the page is Midnight, our three legged black cat.  This is my mother in law’s dog Beau.  And below you’ll find pictures of our African Grey Parrot, Pepper, My sons, Roger & Jack (who is under the covers), and me.  We’re all napping.  Since I had to get up extra early today because of my business, I may take a nap later as well (but no pictures!  LOL).

I hate Daylight Saving Time.  I would consider moving to Arizona just to keep from having to change the clocks back and forth twice a year.  Usually I’m all confused and bothered for at least a week after the time changes.  Naps are a great way to get yourself back into the swing of things though.

I love naps!  I can take a nap just about anywhere too!  Protect-A-Bed is having a twitter party, asking where is the funniest place you have ever taken a nap.  My entry is in a Jeep 4 wheeling in the desert.  And yes, that was while the jeep was moving and bouncing around!  LOL!  Not only was I napping, but evidently I was snoring too!  LOL!  Or at leas that’s what Steve and the Boys told me.

At Mommy PR she did a review of Patches the Bear from Dreamcatchers for abused children.  This bear, Patches, isn’t just for abused children, it’s for any child who is going through something difficult and having a hard time expressing their emotions.  With this wonderful bear, they can learn to identify and express those emotions.

The thing that I like about this giveaway is that you get to nominate a family who really needs this bear!  You don’t win it for yourself, but for someone else in need.  Here are the rules:
