I am always on the lookout for new cleaning products to use, especially ones that are healthier for people and the environment. That’s why I was very interested in learning more about the Purex Complete Crystals Softener.

Working Class from CMT
CMT’s first scripted sitcom, Working Class, starring TV veteran Melissa Peterman and Emmy & Golden Globe Award-winning actor Ed Asner makes its network debut Friday, Jan 28, at 8pm ET/PT. The new sitcom follows Carli Mitchell (played by Melissa Peterman), a single mom from a rough and tumble background, trying to give her three kids a better life by moving them to an upscale suburb. She quickly finds that making the transition to “the good life” is harder than she thought. She’s unwittingly befriended by her cranky neighbor, Hank (Ed Asner), her only “career” prospect is a glorified deli job at the local grocery store, and the man she falls for not only already has a girlfriend – but he’s also her boss, Rob (Patrick Fabian). With her ladies-man brother, Nick (Steve Kazee), to help her out (when he’s not acting like one of the kids himself), Carli faces the challenges of parenting, dating and making friends in her new community by doing more with less, staying true to herself and approaching each day with a touch of working class.

Wicked Spoon Buffet at The Cosmopolitan, Las Vegas – Review
Wicked Spoon Buffet at The Cosmopolitan
Monday night we decided that we wanted to eat out. Steve and I knew we wanted to go someplace with variety and someplace not horribly expensive, because we were taking the boys and Steve’s mom with us. Living in Las Vegas means we’ve got every type of Buffet you could possibly thing of for every budget. We’ve heard a lot of great things about the Wynn’s Buffet and the Mirage… but they are also way more expensive than we wanted to spend. We considered going to the Stratosphere and the Aria, but then as we were driving down the strip we saw the Cosmopolitan. It just opened two weeks ago and so we decided to give it a try.

A couple of weeks ago, a friend & fellow homeschooler, mentioned that she was just getting home from her Co-op with a ton of fruits and veggies for a GREAT price. Of course I asked her where she got them and how much, and if there was any link she could send me. She sent me the link to Bountiful Baskets Food Co-op.
Review – Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Liquid Daily Sunblock
Neutrogena UltraSheer® Liquid Sunblock
I live in Las Vegas, NV where the summer sun is extreme. My son, who never burns, got his very first sunburn this summer because of how hot the sun is out here. He gets his darker skin coloring from my side of the family, but not from me directly. I am very pale, with lots of freckles and I burn VERY easily. I also have very oily and sensitive skin. I hate using most sunscreens and lotions because of my skin type. So when Neutrogena asked me to try out and review their new Neutrogena UltraSheer® Liquid Daily Sunblock, I was excited but skeptical. Could it really protect my skin from the sun in Las Vegas and keep me from feeling like I had my own personal oil spill?
