Breaking The Mom Code?

Is there some sort of Mom Code? If there is, I’m thinking about breaking one of the rules in the code. LOL! If there is a code, and if this is part of it, that is.

Here’s the thing. My son, my 14 year old son, is kinda shy. Especially around girls. And no matter what I tell him, he’s having a hard time figuring out how to talk to this particular girl that he’s got a crush on.

Well, the other day, my mom took the boys and picked them up from a teen thing. And she got the impression that this little girl may kinda like my son.

So I’m thinking… how bad would it be for me to ask HER mom if she likes my son? LOL!

Yea, probably really bad huh?

Ya know, I just want my baby to be happy. And he really likes this cute little girl. I just want to get him to talk to her, but I don’t want to push him into talking with her, if maybe she’s not really interested.

I know I know! I need to let him figure out for himself how to talk to girls and such. But he’s my baby!!! LOL!

So I told him he should talk to her online and on the phone. And maybe when he’s visiting my mom again next week, that he could invite her over to go swimming at their pool! He kinda liked the idea, but I don’t know if he’ll actually follow through. Like I said… he’s VERY shy! But we’ll see!
