I know that yesterday was supposed to be a “Tit”-illating Tuesday Review, and I missed it.  Mostly because I didn’t have anything to review just yet.  It’ll be back next week for sure.  But I also missed it because I’ve been pretty busy with my “real” job this last week.  Over the weekend I was playing with my phone and playing poker and didn’t even turn on my computer!  Which is pretty unbelievable because my computer is always on.  So I thought today I’d give you a little update on the things that have been going on lately, since I haven’t posted much.

Several months ago, Steve and I spotted a house for rent that looked huge.  It had a ton of bedrooms, an office, huge yard, and looked just about perfect for us.  We currently live in a very small 3 bedroom house, that is just too small for us.  The boys share a small room, and our office is in another room which we barely fit in, and the kitchen is smaller than most apartment kitchens.  We called the number on the for rent sign and found out it had 5 bedrooms, an office, 2 kitchens, and was for rent for $2500.  The rent was WAAY too high.

Three months go by and we see that it’s for rent still.  We call the realtor again, but it’s a different person, and we have them show us the inside of the place.  It is ALMOST perfect, if My mom and sister live with us.  Problem is, there really isn’t 5 bedrooms and an office.  It’s more like 4 bedrooms with 2 living rooms, and a large storage closet.  And it’s still $2500 a month.  So as much as we’d like to get into a bigger place, even living with my mom and sister, there just isn’t enough actual bedrooms to make it work.  We’re all disappointed, but maybe there is another house out there that will work for us all!  So we’ll keep looking.

Friday Steve and I got our new phones and are totally in love with them.  I mentioned yesterday some of the great features the HTC EVO has, but there is so much more that it makes it just the perfect phone for us.  We even found a Push to Talk app that turns the phones into walkie talkie’s and it works great!  We can have blue tooth streaming from our phones to my stereo in my car and it sounds fantastic.  There are a ton of games to play on it.  I just absolutely LOVE this phone!  I’ll fill you in on more stuff about the phone later though… there’s a lot to love and a lot to talk about!

This weekend we played in several poker tournaments and didn’t win or even cash in a single one.  Steve and I both came close to making it to the money in a few of them, but busted out before we actually made it.  Very disappointing weekend in that respect.  We always have fun playing poker though, and our skills get better no matter if we win or lose.  You can’t help the way the cards come out though… that’s just poker.  Overall, even through times when we don’t win or cash in a game, we come out ahead, because we win or cash enough times that it covers that times that we don’t.  So it’s still worth playing, win or lose. 

Business wise, we’ve been BUSY!  Right this minute it’s quiet, which is why I can blog right now.  However I’ve actually got a lot of work I’m still doing.  hahaha, procrastination is a beautiful thing, no?  LOL!   Now, if people would just send us all the money they owe us, we’d be doing GREAT!  hehehe

Summer is our busiest time of the year and we actually got a late start this year because of all the weather problems across the nation.  Weather affects our business a lot because if it’s raining or snowing, you can’t move the heavy loads anywhere.  So summer is when everything moves.   Our business is continuing to grow, and we gain new customers every week.  It’s really great and I think we owe most of that to our SEO guy, who happens to be a friend of Steve’s.  He has kept our website in great position on the search engines and our ads are very well placed on Google as well.  That’s where we get most of our customers!

Anyway, so that’s what’s been going on lately.  Steve and I have also been talking about getting away for a weekend somewhere.  Either a near by getaway, like at Lake Mead or Laughlin, or maybe flying somewhere over Labor Day weekend.  But we haven’t made any firm plans yet.  We’re still thinking.
