Congrats To The Sears Outlet Power Moms!!
Last week I found out about an amazing opportunity. Usually these great opportunities don’t show up at my door step. I’ve seen Brand Ambasadors for all sorts of big name brands and have been totally jealous! Brands like Walmart, Disney, and many more have teamed up with some great bloggers to do giveaways, reviews, and much more for them. This time though, I found out about the opportunity BEFORE it was over!
MommyPR has given me some wonderful connections and opportunities for giveaways and reviews. So when they announced they were the PR team for Sears Outlet and they were going to be choosing 11 moms to be the Sears Outlet Power Moms I knew they would do a fantastic job of it.
Of course I applied, but really I didn’t think I would get chosen though. I know my blog stats are very low still and I figured they would want a blog that had a lot of feed subscribers, fans and followers. So I was not surprised at all that I didn’t get chosen. A little sad, disappointed, yes… but not surprised.
However, what this whole process did do, besides get me all excited about Sears Outlet stores, is I met some really great blogger friends AND I have a little renewed motivation for my blog. I’m kinda trying to figure out what exactly I want to do. I have several blogs, 5 to be exact, but they aren’t all getting the attention they deserve. So I’ve been thinking on what I need/should do about that.
My blog about homeschooling hasn’t been getting as much attention because my boys are bigger, and we aren’t doing the same types of homeschooling as we used to. They are a lot more independant in their learning and my business has refocused my attention away from being as involved in homeschooling as I used to. So I’m considering selling it to someone who could really give it the love and attention it deserves.
I’d still post homeschooling things on this blog, but I’m not posting about that topic as often as I would like to. So it seems a waste of a good blog to keep it. I just don’t know. I hate giving up or getting rid of anything… you should see my garage! LOL! What do you all think?
I’m just thinking that I’d really like to focus my attention onto this blog and get the stats up to where I can provide some really great giveaways and reviews for my readers. I know I’d really like to do that… not just for the free stuff either… although that’s a good incentive. LOL! I just want to make this a great place to find out about all sorts of great places and products.
Anyway, this post was supposed to be a congratulations to the wonderful blogs who got chosen to be the Sears Outlet Power Moms. Congratulations to all of you! I also wanted to tell all the other blogs who applied but not chosen, that they shouldn’t let themselves feel too badly about not getting chosen. There are some amazing blogs on the list of non-power moms, and we can celebrate our blogs together! MommyPR has them all listed on her page, so please check them all out and say hello. Visit the Power Mom blogs as well and congratulate them on their great opportunity!!
