I didn’t want to say “Happy Memorial Day” because I don’t think it’s really appropriate. We aren’t celebrating today, although for the most part, it seems that we are. We have Memorial Day sales, and BBQ’s and parties and vacations… but we need to remember what today is REALLY about. It’s about remembering those who have fought, and died, for OUR freedom!

Does that look like the face of a High Schooler??? NO! Of course it doesn’t. He’s not OLD enough to be in high school! He’s just 1, damn it! He’s my baby! How can he be going into HIGH school?? I’m not old enough to have 2 teen agers in high school. And yet, here I am… Barely in my 30′s (by barely I mean pushing 40) and I have two.. yes that’s right TWO children who will be in high school in the fall.

You may have heard of One eskimO before with their hit single, “Kandi” or heard their music without realizing it in a Toyota Commercial. I had never heard of them. I don’t listen to “regular” radio often, being the 80′s girl that I am. But I’m always happy to find a new band that I like.
